DescriptionPencils for 1966 Batman frame tray puzzle. I'm not sure who did it and I don't think this one was used, but it's awesome. Anyone know who drew these?Social/Sharing |

My guess is that's Walt Howarth, a British artist who did a ton of licensed stuff in the 1960's (Batman, Doctor Who, Green Hornet etc), books, puzzles etc (He's still working too)

He passed away nine months after you posted this. He did wonderful work. This is a wonderful prelim piece. I really, really, really loved the 1960s Batman. I also spent a lot of time drooling over the game box and puzzle box art in the Ben Franklin's store when I was a kid.

Thanks! I've had this piece a long time. I believe it was rescued from a garbage can because it was rejected.
