DescriptionAbout the author.Paul Teng (b. 1955, The Netherlands) Paul Teng has had an interest for comics as long as he can remember, so he quit his studies to apply himself to drawing. His first series was 'Delgadito', about an Apache Indian. Then, for Casterman, he created 'Libertair Intermezzo', about the Spanish Civil War. His style is realistic, with influences by artists like Giraud, Pratt and Kresse. First he worked alone, later with the scenarist Vladimir Volkoff on the comic biographies of 'Saint Vladimir' and 'Alexander Nevsky' at Lombard. At the same publisher, he teamed up with Di Giorgio to create the medieval adventurer 'Shane'. The setting of the stories changes from Native America to ancient Russia to Europe in the Middle Ages. In 2004, he began the series 'L'Ordre Impair' with texts by Rudi Miel and Cristina Cuadra. Paul Teng is a regular contributor to the girls magazine Tina.
