Brian Stelfreeze drew this in my sketchbook as part of a lesson to a younger artist at HeroesCon 2007. The thrust of the lesson was "Don't rush to the Finish Line." Stelfreeze cautions against over-rendering at the expense of believable figure work. He advocates the use of gesture drawing and making mistakes. Mistakes that can be repeated and controlled will lead to the development of an individual style.
