Andrew Robinson HAWKMAN cover

What can I say about Andrew? The term "genius" gets thrown around a lot but, in Andrews case, I think it applies, quite literally. I put Andrew in a very small group of young, modern masters such as Adam Hughes, Ashely Wood, and Travis Charest. His imagination knows no bounds and his application often shoots from the hip, much like his character, Dusty Star. Top that off with his kind and gentle nature and you have a very, very special individual.
This painting was my favorite from his Hawkman series of covers and possibly one of my favorite pieces by him.....ever. I had tried to obtain it years ago but it slipped through my fingers only to reappear in Andrews portfolio once again recently. He knew how much I loved it so he made it happen for me. The scan, as the cliche' goes, does not do the piece justice.
