This page makes me wish that Adam Strange had been continuously published for decades past the '60's, and that Carmine could have drawn hundreds of stories of Rann's sleek, futuristic cities, the stars twinkling like diamonds, the strange creatures bent on conquest, and, most of all, Adam and Alanna, the smart, brave star-crossed lovers of two world's always finding their way back to each other. Oksner's inks mesh well with Infantino's pencils, very fresh! :)
I agree SO much. The 1950s-60s tone should be a requirement for every Adam Strange story. Although I did enjoy some aspects of the latest Tom King/Adam Strange run, I really hated the darker negative outcome. Stories like from this page are just like they should be...fun!
