Dunn, Ben - Big Moishe!

I've been a fan of Ben's since waaaaaay back when he was helping out Tim Truman on Scout... where he designed and drew an Israeli Army mecha called "Big Moishe". I was planning to get a sketch from Ben at the Dallas ComicCon, but hadn't decided for sure what I wanted. I went to his table, hoping something would come to me, and while he was talking and sketching for someone else, I started leafing through his art-for-sale. Imagine my surprise when I found a fully-inked illustration of a mecha that looked a lot like Big Moishe! I mentioned the resemblance and Ben (who was shocked I even remembered his work on Scout) said that it actually was a drawing of B.M. that he'd drawn for his "You Can Draw Mecha" book. Needless to say, I scarfed this baby up! No more confusion on what to draw since here was an already inked, published piece of art. Pencil and ink on 11" x 14" Bristol.
