Description

Here's the prelim pencil sketch on 9 x 12 illustration paper. As you can see, the shades I've duplicated through line art principles. Though I wish I'd tilted the head a little more, the hair problem worked out fine, and the shading under the neck looks excellent. At this point I'm not sure whether I'm going to ink the piece or not, but I'm glad that pencils will be just as effective.
