Description

This is Ashley Wood's first design for the Spawn #100 anniversary variant cover.

I reached out to Ashley via email, and he told me the backstory: this was actually the first designed and subsequently rejected cover for issue #100. Todd thought he could do a better one... caramba carambita!

Rejected and unpublished? Whatever! It is a spectacular drawing of Angela by Ashley Wood. Knowing that Angela was co-created by the legendary Neil Gaiman makes this historic piece an absolute masterpiece for my collection.
