Description
This page comes from the end of Byrne's Namor run. For me, from 18 onwards, the graphic quality really went down with each issue. The art was much less polished. The book and the art were still very enjoyable (it's Byrne we are talkig about), but not to the level of the first two thirds of the serie. And I can sadly extend the comment to the rest of his following output (still enjoyable BUT...).

I still really like the powerful first panel showcasing Namor’s musculature as well as the last one where Namor is jumping towards his enemy.

And the inks of Wiacek don't convince me either. He was (announced as) returning to the title with this issue and left after the following issue. And it seems both were trying to mesh during those two issues without much success.

Still a nice example of storytelling but not the best Byrne could do on Namor, in my opinion anyway.

I obviously liked it enough to buy it. That doesn't mean I can't criticize it or say that, to me, it looks less polished than his earlier work on the serie ;)
