Thanks to Jim Warden for offering this piece for sale. This is the only time John Byrne has drawn Cyclops in his current uniform. This piece came from Byrne just wanting to draw the new outfit.

Nice!! It's not every day you see JB drawing a new-fangled costume on one of his favorite characters (sorry, I don't get quoted often, gotta keep it alive).

I never thought I'd see JB drawing these outfits! Awesome grab. I'm really digging these "just because" pieces that JB skecthes because he feels like it. Lots of raw energy.
