Description
Its amazing that I dont own any other Rick Leonardi art because Im a huge fan of his work. I saw this piece on EABY the other day and, as fate would have it, I had a pending deal on the table with the seller. The rest is history. I just love it.

Beautiful! Looks like it was done around the time of his fill-in issues on DD (248 & 249) that had Wolverine, great stuff!

Yeah, Im not one to e-mail people about shutting down auctions aside from telling them, if they think theyre going to, to let me make a counter offer. This was a situation where the seller and I already had a deal going and he was looking to cut down his price a bit. When I saw the piece on EBAY and realized it was his, it seemed like a no brainer. I guess the end result is the same though. Sorry about that.

awesome piece TIm. I've owned lots of different leonardi over the years, he's great. There was this awesome finch aphrodite cover on ebay recently. Seller sold to someone who made him an offer he couldn't refuse. Well wouldn't you think he'd let us all get in a bidding war over it? Nope, just ended and sold.

You're not the only one that intended to win this. :)

You're a lucky man to get some Leonardi goodness - he is such an underrated artist, but I buy every book he draws. Thanks for sharing.
