Jaime Hernandez: Love & Rockets #28 Front Cover

This is one of my 3 holy grails in regards to Jaime - the other two are the front cover to L&R#24 and the third is all the rest he ever made......

Featuring Doyle "Lar Dog" and my all time favorite male hero Ray - Mr Insecurites wastin' time doning nothin'

What really amazes me is that Jaime seems to have done this in one go. There's not a single sign of blueink or redo's on this piece.

If you look at the detail of how Doyle's hair is done, you'll notice that it is in fact the surrounding black that creates the contours of the hairs and not white lines on black paper.

Actually, nothing here is done with white marker, only with black ink, which makes it even more incredible in my eyes.
