Description

The first of three covers Michael Golden produced for Marvel Comics – The Further Adventure of Indiana Jones, No. 23. I should mention that the original is quite large, more than twice the standard cover size. The detailing is gorgeous. I had the opportunity to ask Michael about this at San Diego Comic Con 2007 and he didn't know why he did this piece so large, but recalled that Marvel requested the subsequent covers be standard size.

WOW! The layout is amazing, and of course the detail is incredible. Having it be that giant size probably helps, but why would he feel that compelled to fill in every available space?!? Fantastic piece, great design!
