I'd been following your stuff since Morituri (sp?) when I heard you were doing this series. I could barely contain my excitement as I'd always thought Guice had been paired with inkers who were wrong for him. You knocked that stuff out of the PARK, buddy! I still love those issues.

This was one of the first books I bought when I started my addiction to comics. It was, however, setting me up for disappointment as I expected ALL comics to look this good. Whenever I feel like "phoning" it in for one of my clients, I think back to this issue and imagine that someone might be paying that kind of attention to my work. Thank you for the years of inspiration you've given us all throughout the years.
