This climactic issue was basically one big fight scene. Here, Timber Wolf takes down an enemy bruiser while Saturn Girl and Projectra pretend not to notice how hot he is. Mark Waid did a great job balancing comedy, action, and soap opera, writing in the Claremontian tradition. Note the widescreen cinema panels and the manga-style action lines in panels two and three.
