DescriptionI asked Ron Frenz for a color commission of Cap & Hawkeye that would recreate the look of the characters when they were drawn by Don Heck in The Avengers in the mid-1960's. Ron is a genius -- he must have chanelled Mr. Heck's artistic soul to draw this piece.Social/Sharing |

When I first saw this I thought it was by Dashing Donnie himself. Nice job by Ron Frenz on my two favorite Avengers. I really like how he got the details of Hawkeye's uniform to match that era.

My gosh, its so good that it fooled me into thinking it was Heck..what a great piece.
