Killing Reef - Aquaman vs Piscator

Oh, someone's cruising for an Aqua-bruising!
This stunning piece is by Geof Isherwood. The multi-talented Mr. Isherwood had a wonderful run as penciller on Suicide Squad in the early 90’s. During that run, Superman, Batman, and Aquaman guest-starred in a 3 issue story-arc that also introduced the Atlantean gladiator-for-hire, Piscator. I always thought Piscator, as designed by Geof, had a great visual and I really wanted to see him in combat with Aquaman again. So, when I saw that Geof was taking commissions I knew I had to have him draw a scene pitting the Sea King against his most disloyal subject.
I asked Geof to set the scene at the water’s surface and depict one or both of the figures breaking the surface.
