Archie PEP 161 cover restoration

i was hired to restore this Archie cover which only existed as a square piece of art. First, I created a color matched backing board in the appropriate scale and pasted down the art. Next, I digitally removed the logo and text from the printed comic cover, removed the color, sharpened and re-sized them, and printed everything on color matched stat-like paper. After pasting everything up on the new backing board, the cover was complete - except for one thing. There was an area on the art where a word balloon had been pasted up years ago and had subsequently fallen off - you can see the staining from the old rubber cement. I created a new word balloon, printed it on color matched paper and pasted it down, covering the unsightly stain. NOW the cover was done!
