Description

Well, since I've already written about the original version and the inked version, this will just be about the color version.

I found Steve's work on Deviant Art and was very impressed with a lot of his work. The colors he did on artists such as Michael Bair, Philip Tan, Jim Lee, Leinel Yu, Alex Ross and more made me want to get a commission from him pretty bad. Unfortunately, something always seemed to pop up and I wasn't able to commission him, but finally, the right circumstances arrived.

I submitted this Spider-Man and Nightwing piece to Steve in hopes that he would color it in the manner of a sunset or sunrise because Atula had put so much time into the background that I didn't want it shadowed in darkness and I think he did a pretty good job.

Very Nice! I'm originally from Tucson, Arizona and we have so many sunsets with those kind of colors! When I moved to Northern California, Both me and my sons realized that we lost the color of the sunsets. Your Spider-Wing piece makes me long for those again! Looks Great!

Very cool, just looking at it makes you wish for a crossover. Plus it's a blast to see the pencils to inks and finally the color version!
