("Isis...As in Crisis!")

This is the Original Art for the CLASSIC Cover of SHAZAM! #25 (Sept.-Oct. 1976), penciled and inked by the legendary Kurt Schaffenberger - a "DC-TV Comic". This issue features the Origin & 1st DC Universe Appearance of The Mighty Isis! "The Secrets of ISIS" (22 episodes) was one-half of the Saturday morning live-action "Shazam!/Isis Hour" which aired on CBS-TV from 1975-76. DC Comics published 8 bi-monthly issues of THE MIGHTY ISIS from 1976 to 1978. This Cover is autographed by artist Kurt Schaffenberger and actors Joanna "Isis" Cameron and Jackson "Captain Marvel" Bostwick.

I always like to come and visit this one and your Isis #1 cover. Mr. Schaffenberger's whimsical artwork was seriously good.

Can't figure which one I like better, the Isis cover or this one. Both are gorgeous but I guess this one has the slight edge since it has Shazam.

I had the honor of sharing table space with him at a store appearance many years ago - we exchanged compliments (he was being much too kind about my art- lol) and I even got a Cap Marvel page (the "real" Cap,of course).

Nice!!!  Kurt is one of the most underappreciated Artists ever.  Along with Jack Kamen at EC.  And they both draw the most luscious women.

Wow! I've always loved that cover. I remember how excited I was buying the comic. The calm and regal pose of Isis, and the shocked expression on Cap M's face are a real treat. Schaffenberger did such great work for DC. Fabulous cover!
