DescriptionFrom the story "I Flew with Superman!" in which Curt Swan himself is the main character. This is a page from only one of two stories I know of that Swan inked his own pencils. I am anxious to get ANY more pages from this story! So if you know of any, please drop me a line. In Eddy Zeno's CURT SWAN: A LIFE IN COMICS it is stated that Curt gave one page from this story to each of his children (p.139). I don't know how or when this one made it to the market... I'm aware of another that is in another collector's possession as well. Depicted on this page is also at least three other well-known real-life DC personalities. Who can name them?Social/Sharing |

Without a doubt this is the most personal story from Swan's career. A very special piece of comic art. I love that it's penciled and inked by Swan.

Beautiful to see not only Curt in the story of this fine issue that I also own and love, but also his rare own inks, huge congrats, by Odin's bristling beard !
