Windsor McCay was a giant in the history of comic art! He not only created Little Nemo in Slumberland, but he also created other comics, like this one--Little Sammy Sneeze. I am in awe of his talent for coming up with visual gags like this one long before they became commonplace. McCay practically invented the visual gag! It's not wonder he went on to create some of the earliest animated films. This is a wonderful example of McCay's art. It's so great that we can still find gems like this that are over 100 years old! What a great pick-up, congrats!
