Description

Got this from Kim Deitch's booth at SDCC 2008, where it was being manned by someone else, who I believe is a CAF member. Deitch was one of the leading artists of the underground comics movement of the 1960's and 70's. He was romantically linked to Trina Robbins with whom he had a child (A Deadspawn Trina piece appears in my "Fairies and Pixies and Ballerinas Oh My!" gallery). Unlike 90% of the underground artists, he told coherent stories and I think I have a copy of his "Corn Fed Comics" somewhere.

I think this is wonderfully weird and cool. Note that it has no women in it and I bought it anyway, high praise. Not sure what this means. Notwithstanding the WTF name I've put on it, it has nothing to do with The World Taekwondo Federation (WTF). The stains are from the tape holding a note with Kim's address at the time on it.
