Description

One of the highlights of my trip to this year's Defcon7 in Tulsa was meeting Mark Texeira. I was fortunate enough to be the first on his commission list, and he really nailed it with this rendition of Daredevil. The guy's amazing. He blazed through it lightning-fast. The technique he used to do the skyline was like none I've ever seen. Thanks, Mark! Thanks also go out to my sister, Natalie, for helping to make this happen. [I'll scan a better pic of this behemoth in later.]

Tex always delivers a strong dynamic peice of art and this DD is one of his best!

Amazing piece, I friggin' love it! Doesn't hurt that TEX is one of my absolute favs. I wish he'd come back up to the NW so I could actually see him at a con again.

Being an enormous Tex fan myself, I really appreciate the foreshortening job he did on DD's arms. Awesome!
