Description
To today's comics reader, the name Black Cat evokes Spider-Man's sometime partner, sometime paramour Felicia Hardy. To me, however, the Black Cat will always be Linda Turner, one of the first superheroines to headline her own title. Linda sprang onto the scene in Pocket Comics #1 in 1941, and continued as the star of her eponymous feature until 1951.
