Nude in Cherry Blossoms by Gene Gonzales

I don't remember exactly how I found Gene Gonzales' blog (http://genegonzales.blogspot.com/) but I'm very glad that I did. He posts art from his current projects, sketchbooks, commissions, or whatever else he happens to be working on pretty much daily, and no matter what it is, it's beautiful to look at. When he recently offered some "Conventionless Convention Sketches" (basically online commissions), I was happy to get in on the deal. I went through some of Gene's blog and found a sketch of his from a while back that I really liked and asked if he would mind reworking it into a variation for this commission. I think he did a fantastic job and really went above and beyond what I was expecting with the detail involved in the cherry blossoms! Thanks Gene...she's simply beautiful!
