Wow! Phenomenal Spawn cover by the great Mike Mayhew! Funny, I always think of Mike as a painter, I don't think of him as a fabulous penciler as well! But judging by this pencil, the man can draw with a pencil as well as he paints with a brush! Stunning image of Spawn at war, wielding a massive machine gun as he stands on a battlefield marked by barbed wire. Mayhew's pencils are so incredibly precise, I assume they simply took the pencils and then digitally colored them. Personally I dislike that practice, I prefer that artists finish their covers with paint and brush. But there's no mistaking that Mike Mayhew's pencils look drop dead gorgeous!  Great pick-up, congrats!
