Description

I have always been a sucker for dramatic pages, and few comic characters live more dramatic lives than the characters in bronze age Romance titles. A time when characters had huge emotions, and took the time to express all of them in long tearful monologues. :- ) I've admired old romance title pages for a while now, and my sister was kind enough to get this one for me for my birthday. Seen here is a page from an unknown Romance series, if I had to guess, I'd say that this is from DC's "Young Romance" series of the mid to late 70's however, given the time frame and numbering. It may have been unpublished however. It's shocking to think that it could be possible that readers of the 70's might not have gotten to know of Brenda and Richard's love. :- )

As a side note, this art was stolen from my home in a burglary in December of 2020. It spent a few months with the heroin addicts who stole it, and then it turned back up at a local pawn shop in 2021. So, it's had an interesting adventure! So happy to have it back!
