DescriptionBrian has a great fan list and if you are into his art and haven't checked it out yet, you should go there... now. Membership has its privledges. As part of the activities on the group, Brian does a babe-of-the-month piece. Suggestions are solicited from the group and then Brian does one piece. The are is then made available. This was the second BOTM pin-up Brian did. I had suggested it as I thought he would do a great job and I hoped i'd get it for my Dragonlady themed collection. I was very lucky in everything working out well, first with Brian taking the suggestion, then doing a great retro piece and finally with devine luck being the one able to take this baby home. There is so much about this piece I love. Brian captured the feel for the character and some of Caniff's lines. Brian also modified his signature to mimic Caniff's. Finally, Milton Caniff would often send these hand colored prints to servicemen and women and fans and so Brian made some prints which he handcolored for serviceman in the group as well. Truly a remarkable piece from a remarkable man and a great artist.Social/Sharing |
