Buell - Tail Wind SOLD

I love Al Buell's art and although I had to be selective (some would say penny-pinching) at the recent Heritage auction, I couldn't let this one slip by - It is an absolute classic 40/50s pin-up - I only wish I could see the painted version (did he do it?) - it is also very similar to a well known Elgren image of a girl in a yellow dress in front of a similar plane and as they shared a studio perhaps the two were done together
