Description
What can you say about Adam Hughes' run of Wonder Woman covers?. You could say he is probably the only man who could have filled Brian Bollands shoes as cover artist. You could say DC doesn't 'own' Wonder Woman since his run, she now 'belongs' to Adam Hughes. Or you could just say how lucky us Wonder Woman fans were to have not only Bolland but then Adam Hughes AND have him stay on the book for, what, five years ?. Believe it or not it was DC that ended his run. THE FOOLS!. Anyhow, II think this is one of the most fierce depictions of Wonder Woman that Adam did on the book. Somebody, it seems, is about to have a very bad day.

The only way I'll ever forgive DC for that blunder is when when I see All Star Wonder Woman. Till then the stars will have to twinkle in my eyes when I look at this. (boy that sounded cheesy) Aw heck... Terrific Cover!!!

Covers like this show why Adam Hughes is an artist rather than a mere illustrator. There are a hundred different ways that this cover could have been composed and drawn, but none would be as powerful or iconic. Congratulations on a breathtaking AH!-cquisition!
