Dave Cockrum X-Men pages don't get much better than this! This page is quite early in the run, it features several team members, it's a battle page against a major villain, and it has been off the market for years! Wolverine, Storm, Colossus, Nightcrawler, and Banshee all appear here facing off against the Juggernaut and Black Tom. Wolverine gets center stage at his snarling best and we even get treated with what can only be described as a "reserve fastball special" -- Wolverine tossing Colussus at an enemy in a reversal of their normal rolls. Cockrum X-Men pages are among the most sought after pieces of comic art from the Bronze Age and it is unusual for such a stunning example to be offered at auction. This piece has never been offered before on the "secondary market" as it was purchased by the consignor directly from Dave Cockrum himself many years ago. Cockrum signed the page in the top margin. This art has an image area of approximately 10" x 15".
