DescriptionSo here's a scan of the finished piece! Looks absolutely fantastic! I went with this composition because of the dramatic pose Colossus was in (based on the thumbnail sketches), and it worked perfectly! And as you can see, Illyana/Magik has been fleshed out from her smiley face in the thumbnails. But obviously the main elements were Colossus and Doc, probably my favorite Paul Smith runs in comics. This piece has meaning for me on many levels (hi Grandma!), and it turned out so fantastic (not that I wasn't expecting it too, but seeing the finished piece is a whole different thing), that I'm already thinking about what I would want for my NEXT one! Thanks obviously to Smitty, and to Tom Horvitz, for helping to arrange this in the first place, and for the suggesstion of Illyana in the first place.
