Ares by Frank Cho

Frank sketched this for me at the WizardWorld Dallas 08 so I could give it to my brother. I love this sketch, and how generous Frank was, but I feel I must address an issue. I first asked him to sketch a Druuna for me-- I, too love Serpieri's work-- but he said "No women." I asked why, and he explained that when he sketches women, they get flipped on eBay. So thanks a lot, ComicMonster-- and other unscrupulous ebay art flippers. Please stop appointing yourselves the art dealers for artists without their permission. Please stop making artists suspicious, and interfering with the artist / art fan relationship. Please go make money somewhere else doing something honest. And art fans, please stop buying pieces off of eBay from ComicMonster. We don't need to encourage their behavior any more.
