I went to San Diego in 2002, with the idea of buying a piece of Kirby art to kind of round out the room. I was torn between this and a Thor page. And, even though this is really mostly Ayers, I couldn't pass it up because I really loved the page. It reminds me a little of Avengers 4...

What a stunning sequence! Kirby's perfect sense of space allowed that kind of progression of movement and camera angles to tell the story so well. Superb!
