Description

The first major piece I ever bought. I got it from a dealer at the Chicago Comic Con in 1990. I got my two Adam Hughes pieces that day, as well, but this is the one that got me into original comic art.

The funny part is that while I find this to be a powerful piece of artwork, I'm actually not that fond of this particular issue of TLoSH. It portrays a Cosmic Boy willing to abuse his powers for personal reasons with no consequences. It annoys me more now than it did then and this piece (despite its historic place in my collection) is one I'd possibly trade for a Giffen/Mahlstedt from the same era that comes from a story I prefer (Great Darkness, Substitutes...)

That being said, I do really like this page. The overlay, the emotions from Cos and Night Girl...it's still a good one.
