Description
Joker fish! Saw this cover the first time many years ago at San Diego. For some reason I walked away. When is surfaced again a few years later, I had to have it. FYI, they shrunk the cover down a bit and added the logo, so I simply went with a smaller logo, so that everything fit. I think it works!

Can't believe you passed this by once. Find it even harder to believe someone else gave it up later! Arguably the greatest Batman/Joker cover ever.

If there was any dispute before, it is well settled now. Your collection has long since passed Ridiculousberg (see Scott Williams' comment on your Ditko Dr. Strange piece) and is now well on its way to Absurdityville. You have great pieces from every great artist on their signature major characters at the height of their careers. And now you posted this little Marshall Rogers gem which is one of my all time favorite pieces ever. Please . . . open a museum . . . . charge admission, and stop teasing everyone once and for all. What's next, pages from AF 15? If anyone could get them out of the Library of Congress, it seems as if you could, so maybe I shouldn't tempt you . . . More seriously, tremendous congratulations on a remarkable piece in your gallery of grails!

Quite possibly the best rendition of the Joker on a cover. Congratulations David. Cheers! N.

JOKER FISH! OUTRAGEOUS! This run was magic to me. It was far too short, but it's effect was long lasting and, for years, I used it to judge everyt issue, every writer and every artist of Detective or Batman that came after.

I truly hope I can see this beauty and so much more if I get a chance to visit when I next attend SDCC! :)

Okay, that's it. If they ever vote for a "Gallery Of The Year" here on CAF, then I'm sure you'll win. Hey, after this classic ~ and everything else you're blessed with ~ you've got my vote.

This is just so excessive. Really, one fish would've been sufficient.

The Joker is incredibly depicted in this cover.  He is the star of that story.  Marshall excelled at drawing all of the Bat-villian.  Beautiful addition to your gallery.
