Description

Bob was my first real boss. He hired me back in the '70s to work sales at Comic City, one of the nation's first exclusive comic book retail stores. Bob formed ties with David T. Alexander and Terry Stroud, and, for awhile, we seemed to be American Comic Book Company Midwest. Along with original partners Mike Rosen and the (Matt and Mark) Humphries Bros., he sold out to Julian West and moved to work with Terry and David in California. Many years later, Bob returned to Minneapolis and became the esoteric movie guru at a local video store. He's totally responsible for getting me into the comic book biz!
