Description
Tuesdays in primary school meant swimming lessons but it was also the day I got my Star Wars Weekly. After the swim I'd get my SW fix while waiting for my (then) shaggy mop to dry. It's quite a kick to own such a vivid part of my childhood. This was one of the covers while the film adaptation was still running. I'm guessing this is by Dezuniga but am happy to be corrected.

If I had to make a guess it would be Rich Buckler inked by Klaus Janson. I'm guessing Buckler b/c the Darth Vader looks to be swipe of Neal Adams' Conan 37 cover.

A fantastic piece of Star Wars history here. There's not too many Star Wars covers out there with Darth Vader as prominent as this. Congratulations on this beautiful acquisition Joseph!!!

While it may or may not actually be by Buckler, way to go Will K for the Adams comment...BWAH-HA-HA! Very funny, I get that. And congrats on acquiring that piece of your childhood, that's what makes a lot of this stuff so special, good for you Joseph!

I love the UK Star Wars Weekly covers - they were so much more aggressive and cooler than their US counterparts.
