Description

The vampires in the "World of Darkness" aspire to some ideal of redemption, including a mythical state called Golconda and even a return to humanity. The Ritual of the Red Sign is the culmination of centuries-long efforts by both vampires and mages to achieve this. This piece comes from a section of the book that speculates about what happens at the end of a successful Ritual. One possibility is that a vampire simply becomes human again but another is that he or she becomes the Paragon, a being of great power. (Bought from Michael Gaydos, 2009/05)
