On the Verge of the Threshold of the Edge by Mielan Zebrowski

This beauty haunted me for a while after I first saw it from Mielan. I love his style for his comic art oil paintings, but his more "fine art" offerings also call to me sometimes. So after waiting until I could afford more, I had to get this.

In this piece, there is a doorway over the ocean, a giant eye peering in, as a mermaid swims through the water and a boat approaches in the distance. The mermaid is a little hard to see in the scan, so I included a detail shot of her below:) A very thought provoking piece by Mielan. I'm glad to have it! :-)


This piece measures 9x12 inches and done on masonite wood board.
