Description"Lee" was painted in 1993 as the centrepiece painting for the "1994 Boris Vallejo Mythology Calendar" published by Workman. This painting is also referred to as "Adarbal". Approx size 27 x 15".Included in "Dreams: The Art of Boris Vallejo" published by Thunder's Mouth Press in 1999. Also included in the "Boris Vallejo Card Collection #4" published by Comic Images in 1994. "Lee" is most likely a reference to the model, who I believe was Lee Lebrada, the professional bodybuilder and former Mr Universe (1985). Social/Sharing |
