DescriptionConflict in the "World of Darkness" RPG rages between the Camarilla and Sabbat vampire sects. The more numerous Camarilla believe that their survival in the modern world depends on fitting in and hiding from the rest of humanity, the easier to feed on them. The Sabbat oppose the Camarilla, believing that each vampire can do as he pleases, unhindered by elders or consideration for others of his kind. Both Sabbat and Camarilla frequently enlist permanent or temporary allies in their war and this was covered in Chapter 3 ("Strange Bedfellows") of "Midnight Siege". The piece shows a member of the neutral but mercenary Assamite clan. Assamites are deadly assassins, remarkable tacticians and effective spies.
