Description

The original star spangled sentinel of liberty; the Shield and his partner Dusty courtesy of Terry Beatty. Terry has acknowledged his love for Kiry and when I asked for the sole commission of 2009 I suggested Terry do the MLJ guys with a Kirby influence. As you can see Terry certainly did so.

This deserves special comment because the colors pop, the poses are powerful and the art reminds me of the KING, Jack Kirby.
