Megan Fox Portrait Part 1

This is the beginning of my next big project - a 9 x 12" Megan Fox portrait. Yes I know I missed out on the whole Transformers movie Sketchbook, but hey I had other assignments. Anyway, this is a 4 x 6" eye study which incorporated photo reference and leads ranging from 6H to 3B pencils. The eyebrows and the alignment of the pupils were most challenging because no. 1 you have to get the baby blues looking in the SAME direction and have the same size, and 2 the eyebrows are really thin and you can see the skin underneath when it's a frontal shot. Oh yeah and the thickness of her eyelashes were very deceptive due the liner around her actual eyes.
