Description"The Death of Elektra". This was the other dream piece that I hoped to find when I first got into original art collecting. I can remember the shock I felt reading this as a kid. A truly great and memorable comic book death, even if they have brought Elektra back 89 times.Social/Sharing |

an interesting choice for your collection David, you don't often add obscure pieces from relatively unknown artists. none-the-less a terrific cover. congrats. ;-D

When I see your name on the "recently updated gallery list" I hesitate to click on your name because one of these days it's going to be the contents of the Ark of the Covenent and gazing upon it will melt my face. I just can't take that chance.

The holy grail for all Miller fans. The perfect combination of great writing and fantastic art. It was storytelling at it's finest. This particular arc was the highpoint of Frank's run. Congratulations. Cheers! N.

As much as I appreciate the GSXM 1 cover, this is on a whole different level for me - my favorite single issue of any comic book title, ever. If you ever lose your mind and decide to part with it, I'll meet you in the big kids' sandbox with my checkbook in hand.

You know, I got on to CAF tonight to post something, and then I saw this, and felt somehow smaller in the universe...this looks even more beautiful in B&W, love the tones! Thanks for sharing another excellent gem!

Let's see. Tomorrow I think I'll buy a mansion, an island, a yaht. Oh, and why not toss in the original art cover to Daredevil# 181. Of Miller's entire Daredevil run, this story just might be his masterpiece. I am in awe.

I just wanted to be the 40th person to comment. It will be hard to overcome all the comments that you have received for the GSXM 1 cover, but at least we mere mortals who cannot enter the sandbox can try with this entry......

David, the main issue with your gallery is that basically, I should post a comment on almost every single piece. You were so smart, so early... and when you combine that with an exquisite taste... Like Felix said, can I be your friend? I promise to play nicely and not throw sand in anybody's face. Really, I promise.
