This is one of my personal grail covers. The story took place before Rogue joined the X-men and she absorbed so much from Thor that she killed him. She single-handedly beat the Avengers, Fantastic Four, and Asgardians, almost killed Odin, and then took out Loki's army. It wasn't the greatest story ever, but I sure as hell got a kick out of it.

And as we all know, Rogue has been through a pretty extensive wardrobe collection over the years. I really liked her Thor costume and now I own the cover of the only issue featuring it.

Rogue becoming Thor makes a whole helluva lot more sense than Jane Foster becoming Thor. This cover is utterly fantastic, and I am inspired to read this issue again.
