The is the Original Cover Art for the unforgettable LAST DAYS OF THE JUSTICE SOCIETY OF AMERICA Special #1 (1986). This Cover was drawn by Dave Ross (pencils) and Mike Gustovich (inks). In this CLASSIC issue, the JSA were exiled from the DC Universe for a number of years - a sad time for JSA fandom. NOTE: The "additional images" features a very cool SPANISH Variant.

The JSA were treated horribly in this endless Ragnarok storyline but thankfully returned to greatness. The cover art on the other hand was and still is AMAZING...

I think what's kind of interesting about this comic that very few people seem to know about is that this was intended to be the 1st Prestige Format book publsihed by DC, but Dick Giordano, who was in charge of these special projects instead decided to give Miller's DKR that honorific. And the rest, as they say, is history.

Nice! Always loved this issue, and the follow-up Infinity Inc #30. So glad they reprinted this in a tbp, with a bunch of the Secret Origins of the Justice Society. Great piece!
