Description

Every journey begins with a single step, and this is mine. First page of original art that I ever bought. A siimple page in the six-panel format that many (including reportedly Jack Kirby) thought was the heart and soul of sequential storytelling.

Never read this comic, but am a fan of Tom Grummett who knows how to draw the human body, knows how to tell a story and does a consistently good job on every book.

It is somewhat poetic, I think, that my first page would feature the first superhero.

Very cool page ! Mastering the classic grid with so much elegance and detail is a proof of a great comic artist. And speaking about firsts - if I'm not mistaken, the page is from Tom Grummett's very first issue as the regular penciller of Adventures Of Superman.
