Description

Hulk 258 is one of my all time favorite comics and the cover's been rather iconic to me. To the point that I've always thought it be cool to see it redone but the U-Foes (~wonderful~ obscure villains) in there instead of the Super Soldiers. When I came across Simon Williams (http://soulmaninc.deviantart.com) I just knew that I wanted to have him do it for me. And I think it turned just -perfect-. Vector's certainly never looked better. Classic Bronze Age look all around! Love Simon's wonderful mix of the Buscema's styles what with Sal's poses and John's curved lines. Simon's also a really nice guys who looking for more commission work. So, if you like what you see you should check out his site. Original size 11x17

Cool! I love obscure Bronze Age villians -- all backed, no doubt, but the infamous Brand Corporation. It would be cool to have the Hulk go up against MUTANT FORCE (they were kind of the Substitute Brotherhood of Evil Mutants).
